Miss Japan was crowned Riyo Mori was crowned Miss Universe 2007.I like her. Her fun personality shone and caught my eye especially during the Q&A segment. She stood out from the other ladies who were all so prim and proper. I don’t mean she’s not proper. She is not boring like the rest.
Did a check and found there had been instances when Asians were crowned Miss Universe before. When will Miss Singapore be crowned Miss Universe?

I was on half-day in the afternoon yesterday and caught Pirates of the Carribbean: At World’s End. I found the movie less entertaining than the 2nd one. The plot was a bit confusing at first with too many treacheries.
Chow Yun Fatt’s performance was disappointing. Being a die-hard romantic, when Orlando Bloom tells Kiera Knightly ‘ My heart always belong to you’, my heart just melt.
I missed the ending where they show Orlando and and Kiera reunited after 10 years. The movie was so long that I was eager to leave the cinema to go for my swim once the credits started rolling. I was also hoping Calypso would unleashed her fury and wreck havoc.
Anyway, I didn’t go for my swim. I discovered i had packed everything except the most essential item - my swimming costume. Sigh…. does turning 30 mean turning forgetful?
